Waste Water Treatment Plant

Waste Water Plant

Wastewater is used water that comes from homes, industries, agriculture, and commercial activities. It contains impurities like dirt, organic matter, chemicals, oils, heavy metals, and harmful microorganisms, making it unsafe for direct reuse or discharge into the environment.

Zero Liquid Discharge Plant

The principle of “zero discharge” is recycling of all industrial wastewater. This means that wastewater will be treated and used again in the process. Because of the water reuse wastewater will not be released on the sewer system or surface water. This is more popular as Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).

* Recovery of valuable raw material from process re-engineering
* Entire manufacturing process itself may be modified resulting in substantial savings
* E.g. use of RO instead of DM
* Achieving Zero Liquid Discharge is one of the fundamental requirement for certification under ISO:14000
